Time for Kids shows their BIAS again!!!!

At the below link is a “Special report” on Super Tuesday and they say:

“Scoring victories from coast to coast, McCain earned more delegates than his two rivals combined.”

McCain HAS THREE RIVALS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is outright blatant yellow journalism and Time for Kids needs to be
removed from our schools

My daughter came home with the very same magazine. I wrote to them about it. Here is our correspondence:

Time for Kids,

I was disappointed with the copy of your magazine that my daughter brought home from school today. While it was a good introduction to politics for children, the part that I was unhappy with was the exclusion of one of the leading candidates - Ron Paul.

Dr. Paul is currently in fourth place among the Republicans, and likely outraised all of them in the final quarter of '07 (pending official results). He has the most active support base, and stands a good chance of winning, if he could get more coverage by news outlets such as yours.

If the discussion had only been about the top 3 candidates, then I can understand not mentioning him. But since it discussed the 5th and 6th place candidates (Thompson and Giuliani), I am puzzled why the 4th place candidate wouldn't be mentioned?

Please reply and give me an answer to my question. I look forward to settling this disturbing puzzle in my mind.

Thank you,

Bill Dodge
Minnesota

Dear Bill,

Thanks for writing TIME For Kids! It's always so great to hear from readers around the country who enjoy our magazine.

In the limited space we have in the magazine, we could not include all the candidates. The candidates on the cover are the ones who participated in the New Hampshire debates. Bill Richardson was removed from the cover after he dropped out of the race last Thursday, the same day we went to press.

Thanks again for writing, and if you have any other concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Sincerely,
TIME For Kids

Thanks for the information Bill.

The 2 reasons they give are lame.

First, there is plenty of room on the cover for another button.

Second, Ron Paul was at the New Hampshire Republican debate. I know this for a fact because I was there!

Thanks again!
